High ping (Need some help)

Post by TOPERA » 19/06/2019, 18:38

Hello.
So in the last few weeks i'm having a problem with my ping in the game. The highest ping was 28 000,which makes the game unplayable. My avarage ping in the game is 100+ 300+.When I move or jump in the game is even worse. The thing is if I do a speedtest it's about 15-30 ping. Also my computer is new,so the problem can't be with that.I'm really strugling with this. I would be thankfull if anyone could help me with this. :)
Thank you.

Sounds like the exact same problem Im having. One game Ill have 80 ping. The next game I will have 150-160. Its consistent too; no spiking or anything of that nature. Not sure if its a different server location from game to game or what.

The server always stays stable, it's either your location or your provider in general is the problem. Some players use third party software like Pingzapper or WTFast to decrease their latency/ping, maybe you can try the free 7day trial to test, if your connection with the server improves.

There are different reasons for this. It could be a problem of your internet provider or an issue of WTFast/Pingzapper (if you use this software).
